Wednesday night when I left church, I noticed my tire was low. I stopped at the gas station and put air in the tire.
Yesterday afternoon, the tire appeared normal. Last night, while leaving the mall, I noticed the tire was low again.
This morning, it was flat.
The man from the emergency repair team came to the house and attempted to put on the spare tire. He could not as one of the bolts was stripped. He put enough air in the tire so that I could drive to the tire store and have tire repaired.
At the tire store, the worker informs me that 3 of the bolts are stripped and the tire cannot be removed because the bolts need to be repaired. Of course they do.
So he drives my car next door to an auto repair center. I am informed the repair is a quick fix and my car is pulled into the work area.
2 hours later, I decide to take the children for lunch. They were very well-behaved and one man even complimented me on their behavior. After returning from lunch, my car is still NOT repaired. This is just the required component before I can get to the necessary component of a new tire.
I am currently at home as the kids were getting restless. The courtesy shuttle brought me home and now I am waiting for a call to advise the bolts have been repaired all so that I can sit and wait for the tire to be repaired.
WOW! Happy Friday!
