"Mommy. Mommy. Where are you?" He bellows out at nearly 3a.
I walk into his room and notice his bed was empty. I walked into NyCee's room and he was not there.
"Bubba where are you?"
"I am down stairs."
I have no idea what made him walk down stairs at 3a. I have a night light in the kitchen so he must have followed that light down the stairs. After he walked back up the stairs, I put him back in his bed. He asked, "Mommy, you lay down with me for a while?" "No, bubba. You are a big boy and can sleep in your own bed."
Side Thought: My oldest nephew turned 18 today. I was thinking about him when he was NyCee's age. Time really does fly by.
"Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away." James 4:13-14
Be sure to value everyday with those you love. Remember to tell those around you that you love and appreciate them.
